For this project, we were to create a contemporary poster in the style of an assigned period of design. I was given the Bauhaus period, which was an important design movement that centered around the Bauhaus School in Germany during the 1920's and early 1930's. Although there is no real "Bauhaus Style," the colors and geometric shapes in thisposter were chosen to mimic those used in similar posters of that period. The symbol in the upper, right corner was theBauhaus School logo.
This poster was the winner of a 2009 Silver Louie Award, and a 2008 LGDA 100 Silver Award.
I am a 2009 graduate of Ivy Tech Community College, School of Fine Arts and Design and am currently working as a freelance graphic designer.
Shown here are a few of my most recent jobs, as well as some school projects. Please feel free to comment or add constructive critiques. One can never stop learning!
